Your answers are processed by a decision tree that matches your profile (use case, role, tech level, budget, and priorities) to our database of 393 scored AI tools. Each tool is rated across 8 dimensions. Your budget is a hard ceiling — we never recommend a tool you can't afford. No. Affiliate status is not a factor in our scoring algorithm. We regularly recommend tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot — tools with no affiliate program — because they're genuinely the best fit for certain profiles. Every result page discloses when a link is an affiliate link. Our reputation depends on giving you accurate recommendations, not on commissions.

We review tool scores, pricing, and availability weekly. AI tools change fast — features get added, prices change, new tools launch. We do our best to keep the database current. If you spot something outdated, email us at info@pickurai.ai.

Each result card explains why that tool was selected for your profile. The "why" reasoning is shown below the tool name. In general: Q1 (use case) determines the category, Q4 (budget) eliminates tools you can't afford, and Q2/Q3/Q5 refine the ranking within that category.

Yes! Send us the tool name and a brief description at info@pickurai.ai. We'll evaluate it against our inclusion criteria (10,000+ active users, differentiated use case, at least 3 months public, accessible free tier or trial). If it qualifies, we'll add it to the database.

Very little. Your quiz answers are processed in your browser and are not stored on our servers (unless you use the optional Q6 text field, which may be sent to our AI provider). We collect anonymised analytics to understand aggregate site usage. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
